Campaign Summary

The highly motivated Marketing Team at the g Hotel & Spa and D’Arcy Marketing & PR worked in partnership to set out the KPI’s ( key performance indicators) for a successful PR campaig for the luxury 5 star, g Hotel and Spa which positioned the brand as Galway city’s most fashionable and unique leisure experience. Seizing the opportunities  of Galway’s distinctive vibrancy and high profile events calendar including the  Galway International Arts Festival and  Galway Races are at the heart of the PR activity. The unique leisure travel opportunities presented by Galway City’s lively atmosphere and the high profile visitor attractions of Connemara and County Galway also generate excellent opportunities across travel and lifestyle media.

Developing partnerships with primetime TV and Radio shows in the lead up to key events in the annual Galway Festival Calendar have to date been central to the campaign. Hosting unique Food and Culture Media events along with Glamour at the g, Galway Races Ladies Day fashion events  all support the aim of maintaining the g Hotel’s leading position in the luxury 5 star leisure market locally, regionally and nationally.


Brief

The PR brief for the g Hotel & Spa reflects the innovative and distinctive g brand and the 5 star hotel’s uniquely fashionable interior. Central to the campaign is the vibrancy of Galway City, Connemara and the Wild Atlantic Way along with the g’s position as a 5 star lifestyle experience, with an exclusive destination ESPA experience.
