Working in partnership with the Galway Food Festival Directors and inspirational food leaders including Michelin star chef and Galway Food Ambassador JP Mc Mahon, an innovative PR plan was formulated.
A launch event, festival preview press trips to build advance ticket sales, all formed part of the tactical PR plan. Hosting key media ahead of and during the festival program was crucial to the success of the campaign. Attracting high profile media including RTE Nationwide was integral. Food producers and chefs featured across national TV, Radio, Print and Digital media, each telling their unique story or demonstrating their culinary skills as part of Galway Food Festival.
Media partnerships were also secured nationally and locally.
To elevate the Galway Food Festival from a local Galway festival to a national food event.
