Brief

Tourism Consultant and former owner of the award winning Harvey’s Point Hotel, Deirdre Mc Glone, as Network President approached D’Arcy Marketing & PR to devise a targeted PR Campaign for the Conference. The overall aim was to gain national coverage for the diverse, ambitious and growing Donegal Women in Business Network amongst mainstream business and news media across broadcast, digital and print.

The one day conference was chaired by Virgin Media One Journalist, Presenter and Donegal Personality Ciara Doherty. The 20th anniversary conference featured a series of key note speakers and panel discussions from a wide range of successful Donegal business women in the areas of multi nationals, tourism, service providers, artisan food and drinks producers and of course Donegal’s world renowned fashion, knitwear and tweed industry. All of which made for excellent business case studies and were central to the PR Campaign.
